


Luciana’s passion for baking and sugar art began many years ago in her native city of Sao Paulo, Brazil. In the past six years, Luciana has trained in the art of pastry making through courses and internships in San Francisco, New York, Paris, Sao Paulo and Madrid, where she now resides. Recently Luciana has perfected her technique in wedding cake making as a student of Toba Garrett at the prestigious pastry school of the Institute of Culinary Education of New York.
On her arrival in Madrid in 2000, Luciana began putting into practice her knowledge and creative artistry in pastry making, turning what had been a mere passion for cakes into a career. Following the success of her early creations, she saw the opportunity to carry out what is still an unusual profession in Madrid. Now, to the delight of both art lovers and cake lovers, she is working full time in pastry making, creating true works of sugar art.
